Baby Bear is a bear cub who is a good friend of Reader Rabbit and the other Wordville critters. She is the daughter of Papa Bear.
Appearance[]
Baby Bear is a bear cub with golden brown fur and a tan lower face, chest, and belly. She has big ears, a small black nose, curved eyelashes, and a large tuft of fur on her head.
Personality[]
Baby Bear is a sweet, curious, and energetic little girl with a love for playing with her friends. She is also eager to help Papa Bear around in his store, making preparations for organized events.
In the Games[]
Reader Rabbit Kindergarten[]
Baby Bear makes her debut in Reader Rabbit Kindergarten, in which she lives with her father, Papa Bear, in their den at Camp Happy Tales. She is trying to wake Papa Bear, who is still hibernating in his bed, and, with help from Mat the Mouse, finds the alarm clock behind honey jars on a grid of shelves in the Get Your Bearings activity. In return, Mat receives party items for the campfire party, and Baby Bear reclaims her ukulele, which was hidden by Spike the Porcupine. She also appears along with Spike in both stories in Action Reaction. At the campfire party, Baby Bear sings two songs: The S'more Song and Why Stars Twinkle.
Reader Rabbit 1st Grade[]
In Reader Rabbit 1st Grade, Baby Bear helps Papa Bear create new costumes for Wordville's Really Big Show, then appears with the rest of the group at the end of the show during the "We Did It" song. A silhouette resembling Baby Bear also appears in the audience during the show.
Reader Rabbit Math Adventures Ages 6-9[]
In Reader Rabbit Math Adventures Ages 6-9, Baby Bear, along with the other Wordville critters, appears in the crowd during the intro sequence, where the boat race is about to begin. She is seen when Reader Rabbit runs along the dock to enter the race.
Reader Rabbit: Playtime for Baby[]
In Reader Rabbit: Playtime for Baby, Baby Bear appears in three activities. In My Storybooks, she appears in some of the books' pictures. In Peekaboo Bubbles, she appears in a picture depicting the letter B, holding balloons. In Discovery House, she occasionally appears inside the right square window of the house. Baby Bear also appears as a placeholder in the picture frame, where a customizable image goes, in the game's Personalization features.
Reader Rabbit Thinking Adventures Ages 4-6[]
In Reader Rabbit Thinking Adventures Ages 4-6, Baby Bear helps Papa Bear in the store with organizing toys and wrapping Sam's birthday presents.
Learning Creations[]
In Learning Creations, Baby Bear appears in the Make a Masterpiece!/Paint a Picture! activity as a sticker and in the Rhythm Room, playing the drum set.
Reader Rabbit Dreamship Tales[]
A silhouette of Baby Bear appears in Reader Rabbit Dreamship Tales, along with that of Papa Bear, Mat, and Pierre.
