Pierre is a French raccoon who is a friend of Reader Rabbit and his other friends in Wordville, often helping them with their organized events.
Appearance[]
1990s[]
Pierre is a anthropomorphic raccoon with grey fur with a black mask, hands, feet, and stripes on his bushy tail. He has round eyes and a small black nose. In his appearances in Reader Rabbit 1st Grade and Reader Rabbit Thinking Adventures Ages 4-6, he has a white lower face, chest, and belly.
As a chef, Pierre wears a white apron and chef's hat. In other roles, he wears a black beret.
2000s[]
In the 2000s, Pierre's fur is brown instead of grey, and he wears a white chef's hat and shirt.
In the Games[]
Reader Rabbit Kindergarten[]
Pierre makes his debut in Reader Rabbit Kindergarten, in which he keeps receiving food deliveries to his cabin. In Diner Lineup, Mat the Mouse helps him sort his deliveries onto the shelf above the counter, and Pierre gives Mat some food supply for the campfire party in return. Pierre eventually reclaims his banjo, which was hidden by Spike the Porcupine, and sings two songs at the campfire party: I Have Ants and More or Less.
Reader Rabbit 1st Grade[]
In Reader Rabbit 1st Grade, Pierre is in charge of painting billboard posters and composing music for Wordville's Really Big Show in his studio, also helping Mat with her dance number. At the show, Pierre serves as the music conductor.
Reader Rabbit Math Adventures Ages 6-9[]
In Reader Rabbit Math Adventures Ages 6-9, Pierre, along with the other Wordville critters, appears in the crowd in the intro sequence, where the boat race is about to begin. He can be seen in the crowd as Reader Rabbit runs along the dock to enter the race.
Reader Rabbit Thinking Adventures Ages 4-6[]
In Reader Rabbit Thinking Adventures Ages 4-6, Pierre works on banner cards and paints wrapping paper for presents for Sam the Lion's birthday party.
Reader Rabbit Dreamship Tales[]
Pierre's silhouette appears along with that of Mat, Papa Bear, and Baby Bear in Reader Rabbit Dreamship Tales.

Reader Rabbit: The Great Word Chase[]
Pierre has a booth at the Wordville Square market, where he sells stinky cheese. He gives Reader and Sam the word "this," which was left by the Pirats.
Reader Rabbit: The Great Alphabet Race[]
Pierre is seen during the Alphabet Song, where he's putting peppers on top of a pizza pie.
Reader Rabbit: Wordville Soup[]
Pierre cooks his opposite soup for the Wordville Festival of Words, but when the Pirats try to spy on Pierre's recipe, they accidentally knock over Pierre's unfinished soup, which spills over the recipe list. Pierre, having forgotten the ingredients, gets help from Reader and Sam in finding new ingredients around town. When they find all the ingredients, they make the soup together, and it's a hit with the Wordville critters. Because of the help and support he's received from them, Pierre decides to rename his opposite soup to Wordville Soup.
