Plot
Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion get ready for the Great Alphabet Race along with 24 other racers. The cars they are driving are letter-shaped. Reader drives in the letter R and Sam drives in the letter S. The Pirats also want to join in and win the race in their own racing boat. The alphabet song begins, then the music stops when they hear a doorbell, then Reader gets a green gear for Gus, then the song continues playing, then the music stops again when they hear a honk and look down at an M car, then Reader gets a muffler for Mit and Mattie after finding mints, a mop, and a mask in the M box, and then the song continues playing again. Once it ends, Spike, who is feeling unsure about being any good at driving, is invited to join Sam as his co-driver. The race begins and Reader passes the drivers one by one alphabetically. The Pirats take several shortcuts to try and bypass the racers, but ultimately crash and sink their ship in a lake, with Vermina coming to their rescue. Reader makes it towards the finish line, but Sam and Spike cross it first and win the race, and win a golden trophy in the shape of the letter S.

International Releases
- This DVD has also been dubbed in French. It has been packed as a bonus for several game releases like Sparkle Star Rescue![1], Bounce Down in Balloon Town![2] and Lapin Malin: Initiation à l'anglais[3].
- In French version, The Alphabet Song is cut, because the visuals could not match the translated French lyrics.
- Still in French version, all characters pronounce the letters in French and English way. They also explain the correspondence between each letter and each English word, then give the French translation right after.
