  3. Silly Syllables - This activity appears in the third segment of each Reading Land. Players put syllables on stage in the correct order to make words.
  4. Buster's Word Bridge - This activity is unlocked at the end of each unit after every book and activity in the associated Reading Land is finished. Players rebuild a rickety bridge to help Reader Rabbit, Sam, and Mat cross it by completing sentences with the correct words.

Trivia[]

  • Although the cover art shows Reader in his usual red and blue striped sweatshirt from the late 1990s, his in-game appearance remains unchanged from that in previous versions, even in the Personalized version and the one used in Reader Rabbit I Can Read with Phonics.
  • The cover art for the 1998 version shows Sam driving with Reader holding a green book, whereas the Personalized version's cover art shows Reader driving, as he does in the game, and Sam holding a green book.
  • The "Interactive Reading Journey 2" logo from previous versions of the game was removed from the map screen in this version. Also, Reader's first line of dialogue, "In Reading Journey 1...", was changed to "In the last reading adventure...".
    • However, the "Reading 6-8" logo still appears on the map screen in the UK version of the game, and Reader's first line of dialogue is "In Reading 4-6...".
  • Unlike in previous versions, special words from books are not automatically spoken. Instead, the player must click the "Special Words" text above the list to hear the words spoken.
  • In the Personalized version, the original title sequence is replaced by the "flying chalkboard" title sequence from the late 1990s, and transitions directly to the opening sequence in a magenta screen flash.
  • On the cover of the GSP re-release of the game in the UK, Reader's head is depicted in his 2001 design, re-used from the cover of Reader Rabbit 1st Grade: Capers on Cloud Nine!.
  • Depending on the age range in the title, the US version goes up to 9 while the UK version goes up to 8.
  • The Adventure Workshop 1st-3rd Grade version’s autorun screen has the same background music as the treehouse launcher.
