Riley is one of five key members of the Pirats. His role in the crew is being Captain Ratbeard's first mate, giving him vital advice in his schemes.
Personality[]
Riley is loyal to the crew and prides his piracy well and sees the band of pirats as decent sorts as revealed in his song. He speaks in a cockney accent. He will follow Ratbeard's orders, even though they don't seem to work. In "Reader Rabbit 2nd Grade: Mis-cheese-ious Dreamship Adventures!", it is revealed that he loves to eat blue cheese bricks.
Appearance[]
In "Reader Rabbit Math Adventures Ages 6–9", Riley has cream colored fur and a pink nose. He wears a red and white-striped shirt and dark red trousers.
From "Reader Rabbit Preschool: Sparkle Star Rescue!" onwards, he has thick black eyebrows and his facial expression was made to look more sinister. Also, the insides of his ears are now brown instead of pink.
In "Reader Rabbit Learn to Read With Phonics: 1st & 2nd Grade", his nose color is changed to black. This is also the case with the other Pirats.
In "Lapin Malin - J'Apprends a Lire et a Ecrire", he wears a grey-striped shirt, an orange lifejacket, dark grey trousers and grey boots.
