Tally Cat is a supporting character in Reader Rabbit Preschool/Let's Start Learning! and the main protagonist of Interactive Math Journey.

Appearance[]

Tally is a cat with orange fur and white fur on her lower face, chest, belly, hands, feet, and at the tip of her tail. In Let's Start Learning/Reader Rabbit Preschool, she wears a red neckerchief. In Interactive Math Journey, she wears a blue collar with a gold tag and a brown backpack. Her Math Magician uniform consists of a black top hat with a blue ribbon and a black and blue magician's cape.

Personality[]

Tally Cat enjoys counting, dancing, and doing math. She is willing to learn more about the basics of math as she travels to Math Magic Mountain.

Role in the Games[]

Let's Start Learning!/Reader Rabbit Preschool[]

Tally Cat is the leader of the Counting Club, where her critter friends are playing hide and seek in the trees. She counts up the critters as the player finds them, and they dance together when she is finished counting.

Tally also appears in the Body Builders activity as one of the buildable characters, as well as in the parade at the end of Reader Rabbit Preschool (Version 2.0).

Interactive Math Journey[]

In Interactive Math Journey, Tally goes on a math journey to Magic Math Mountain with Mat the Mouse and Pop to find the Math Magician. In the end, Tally is revealed to be the Math Magician, and recites a poem about math.

(in the first scene when not the math magician yet and declines to play with Mat) Nah. I am too busy counting.
(as she becomes the Math Magician in the end) I've learned everything you said! I can count in fives and twos, and in Fractions if I choose! (a black Cape appears around Tally's neck, much to Mat and Pop's surprise) I can Measure with an axe or a shoe, whatever I want to use! I can Multiply, Subtract, and Add all the numbers in my path! I have Journeyed through Ten Math Lands, and I can do Math! So where's the Math Magician?!
IT'S ME! I AM THE MATH MAGICIAN! YES! (in deep voice) I AM THE MASTER OF MATH MOUNTAIN!
